Last week we went to Osijek to hold a PowerApps training for Žito d.d. The training took place at the client’s office, lasting 2 days, with a total duration of 8 hours.

The participants of the training have been using PowerApps in their business for some time, but they wanted to improve their skills in the independent creation of applications, so that they could later maintain them themselves.

The training was based on the analysis of their existing application, where we went through the entire process of creating PowerApps applications, from connecting to data sources to using the Power FX language to write the desired commands and functions. At the training, we went through the basics of Power Automate and a simpler example of connecting an application to a Sharepoint list. We also touched on Behavior formulas and the most outstanding Patch function, which is used to add new and modify existing rows in the application.

The training included the following topics:

  • Basics of PowerApps
  • Connecting to data sources (example Sharepoint list)
  • PowerFX language
  • Patch function
  • Forms
  • Power Automate

The participants were satisfied with the concept of training and learned some new useful things that will help them in the further development of PowerApps in business. They also got answers to all the questions they had about their existing applications and their maintenance.

In our opinion, the training was also successful, and the participants received certificates of completion of the PowerApps training.

We thank Žito d.d. on hospitality and trust!

We look forward to all future educations and cooperation!
