New Power BI training held for client Bugatti Rimac

In the past 2 weeks, we held a new Power BI training for the client Bugatti Rimac for a total duration of 24 hours. The training was held again at the client’s on Campus, but this time for another department, the Project Logistics team.

The participants of the training with the help of the Power BI system want to automate everyday tasks and create interactive reports, that will facilitate their overall data analytics. That’s why they wanted to learn more about Power BI and how to put together an adequate data model.

At the training, we went through the entire Power BI system, from connecting to data sources, cleaning and transforming data to creating visuals and writing basic calculations. The first part of the training was focused on the Power Query tool, where we went through processing and structuring data into forms suitable for further loading into the model, so that additional calculations and analyses could be done. In the second part of the training, we touched on the basics of the DAX language, which is the core of Power BI and which needs to be well understood in order to set up accurate calculations for precise analytics of all the indicators that business users want to monitor. The training was accompanied by practical tasks through which we gradually built a Power BI report, and each training is specially adapted to a specific client and uses business examples that are close to them to make the material easier to understand.

The training was useful for the participants because they got to know the whole process of creating reports and got an insight into the main features and advantages of Power BI. This will help them to further develop the Power BI system and to improve internal reporting!

The training was once again led by our certified Power BI trainer Krešimir, who has many years of experience working with and teaching users about the Power BI system, so he was capable to answer all the questions that the participants were interested in.

The participants of the training showed interest and through active participation obtained certificates of success at the end of the training.

As always, it was our pleasure to educate colleagues from the Bugatti Rimac company! We are grateful for another participation and trust!
